Success comes through what’s known as the “therapeutic alliance,” that is, the relationship between the client and therapist.  So, let me tell you more about me and what it’s like to work with me.

Welcome to Counseling for Resilience

I'm Lina Lewis-Arévalo, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of New Jersey and a Certified Telehealth Provider.  My therapeutic approach incorporates Mindfulness practices such as Meditation and Yoga, and I encourage all of my clients to have a daily Gratitude practice.  We will also look at your sleep, nutrition, and activity, as well as your inner world.  My approach to counseling focuses on helping you to feel your best: body, soul, and mind, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, culture, or religion.

I believe that people flourish when they believe in themselves, and I love to help them do that.

When I’m not working with clients, you might find me trying out new recipes, knitting a sweater, taking a Yoga or Aquacize class, traveling to a new destination, or just dancing in the grocery aisle.
